AUDITIONS FOR SPRING 2008 

HAMLET  

AND

ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST  

General Audition: choose a time slot on EITHER Monday, December 3^rdor Tuesday, December 4^th from 7 to 9pm. 

Call-backs for Hamlet will be Saturday 12/8 from 1 to 5pm and –if needed—Sunday 12/9 from 1 to 5pm. 

Call-backs for Anarchist will be Monday 12/10 from 6 to 10pm and—if needed—Tuesday 12/11 from 6 to 10pm.    

PREPARATION: PLEASE PREPARE TWO CONTRASTING MONOLOGUES—DETAILS BELOW. YOUR TOTAL AUDITION MATERIAL MUST BE UNDER 4 MINUTES.  

For Hamlet: 

Please prepare a Shakespeare Verse monologue 2 minutes or under. Avoid anything from HAMLET. Women may audition with a men’s monologue as we will be looking at roles from a non-gender perspective. 

For Anarchist: 

Please prepare a bold comedic monologue under 2 minutes. Bold can mean high energy, physical in nature, farcical, extremely clear character choices, or zesty language-driven (as in Restoration comedy), or any combination of the above. Monologues from Fo plays other than Anarchist are fine.
