USITT

Welcome to Bradley Theatre! We're the Executive Board for the Student Chapter of Bradley's USITT chapter, and we're so glad you are interested in joining our chapter.
Specifically, our chapter is part of a national organization in which theatre professionals and students alike are joined with the mission of promoting the advancement of the knowledge and skills of it's members. We are very thrilled to be beginning our fifth year as a Student Chapter!

Bradley's USITT chapter has many goals.

o We bring professionals to lead workshops and discussions about current issues in theatre technology
o We get involved in school activities be volunteering our services when needed.
o We help theatre students prepare for their futures after college with resume and portfolio preparations
o Finally, we strive to make the entire theatre department more knowledgeable and appreciative of technical theatre.

Our biggest event is the national USITT conference held each year in mid-March. This is an amazing opportunity as well as an adventurous educational experience. Bradley's USITT chapter will be coordinating fundraising events throughout the year to help its members pay for the conference and traveling expenses. This year the conference is March 19-22nd in Houston, Texas!

o Haunted House (October)
o Workshop with professional (October)
o Social Event (December)
o Chicago Trip to see a Broadway show (February)
o USITT Conference in Houston (March)
o Philanthropy Event (April)
o Production Resume/Portfolio Workshop (April)
